Kerran and Sam Langley—a nurse in forensic psychological well being and a cartographer and self-described “eager bushwalker,” respectively—are the newest house owners of a cosy Eighteen Nineties Victorian within the foothills of Tasmania. “Sam and I fell in love with its old-world appeal and the little cottage backyard,” Kerran wrote to us after we first featured the cottage (right here). “We cherished that it hadn’t been renovated totally so we might form it for ourselves. This was our first and our solely house,” she added. “Sam additionally proposed to me right here.”

With the couple as its caretakers, it’s no shock that the redone interiors of the cottage—now known as Lumière Lodge—are so candy, every room painted a distinct hue. We notably just like the two-tone robin’s-egg-and-olive of the cottage kitchen; let’s have a look.
